At least, that's what my wife is saying. Today, I drove to work in downtown Denver, hoping to come home early and surprize the wife. However, an unforcasted blizzard hit at 2:00 pm, and I barely had time to move my Bullitt (Eleanor) from across the street into my office building's underground garage. There have been wrecks everywhere, and now it's 5 degrees outside with packed snow, and home is 30 miles away. I'm stuck, and I will not leave her even though this building has regular security patrols. I have the club for entertaiment and a some yoga mats to sleep on between my frequent checks on her.

Mike, you sound like a man who has his priorities straight, although I am a little distressed that you are apparently not going to camp out in the car.
You are right about this storm, it was brutal. You made a wise choice. Going home I saw a V6 stang dead in the water on flat ground, could only move laterally which is not a good thing. Actually its much better in the mountains than downtown this go round.
Luckily 2532 is staying in the garage till the weather is better and the wonderful gravel put down by CDOT is washed off the roads.

Hank, the wife kinda understood, but said if I bought a Subaru WRX, I would be home by now. I reminded her that she thought the WRX looked like it had bug-eyes, and it's slower and less fun than the Bullitt. Plus, she knows I've slept in a lot worse places, like on the Iraq/Saudi Border for eight months, eleven years ago. Can't stop thinking about our troops at war now.

The Vortech is great. Gentle as a kitten in vaccum and like a lion in boost. Dynos between at 375-360 rw/hp and 370-350 lbs/tq. However, I'm running rich and my engine check light will not go off even with MIL Eliminators. Vortech, mechanics, tuners, and others here in the club are advising a custom chip based on my mods and conservative A/F ratios. So, I'm "trying" not to push over 5 or 6 psi until I get a good tune and new chip in the next couple of weeks. Max. Boost approx. 10 psi at 5,750 rpms with a 3.12 drive pulley at Denver's attitude. This pulley would be way too much for sea level with our stock pistons, IMHO. Best advice for a those getting a SC is be able to live w/out a warranty for everything, ensure a good tune and then enjoy kicking some SS A$$.

P.S. BullittBro, I finally found and kicked me some.

Please forgive me for not sleeping in her, my wife said it was too kinky. Got my AC/DC and "riding the storm out."

She might not admit it but I bet the wife brags to her friends that her real man husband scorned the WRX and brought a Bullitt.

You know I think there are major differences in the type of persons who drive high performance, r/w Amercian Muscle Cars and those who drive those high tech, foregin wonders. If I had got a WRX, I would have felt like a winnie & cop-out everytime I saw a GT, Bullitt or Cobra, and she knows that. I waited almost twenty years to get this car and the fever again, and I can't go back. Bandimere opens April 19th.

That is why us folks in Wyoming do not ever drive our cars in the winter months. You never know what that white crap can hit. I laugh when it starts to dump up here and I am in my POS. Of course I feel emasculated all the winter months as well. Trade offs I guess
