hey bullittheads,

is it just me or do the windows squeak when they go up. at first it was only the driver side (towards the top end of the "lift"), then it stopped, and only the passenger side and i thought, hmmm, maybe it needs to be broken in... then it stopped... "okay so i was right... needed to be broken in." then it started squeaking again... BOTH SIDES! especially after the mouldings are wet (rain or wash). anyone else's power windows squeak?? or dont squeak?? please let me know.

also, let me know if this is something i am overly-anal about or something that should be brought up to the dealers attention.. thanx!

My drivers window squeaks as well. Heard from this site that if you put a small film of vaseline on the area of the window (mine is in the front lower corner, near the speaker) and cycle the window a few times, rub off the excess vaseline, then the squeaks should go away. Haven't tried it yet though.

Mine's in the shop today getting the annoying driver's side window fixed. I miss her already!!!!

Both windows on 227 squeak;-(... Maybe on the next trip to the dealer, I'll ask them to fix it;-)...
