Whenever someone rides in my passenger seat the side of the seat rubs the door and makes a loud squeaking sound. Anyone else have this problem? Is there something I can put on the seat so it doesn't make any noise when it rubs the door, like some leather conditionar or something?

Try a pure silicone spray, not WD-40 though.

My passenger seat rubs also. The dealer said there is nothing he can do to fix it. If someone small or large is in the seat it rubs. I know what you mean, this is very annoying and the person in the seat thinks they are too big and are causing the seat to rub. I think the seat is just mounted too close to the passenger door. Talk about annoying take a 2 or 300 mile trip with a passenger, thank goodness for the Mach 460 system. I think Ford will deny anything they can so they don't have to make a repair.

Thanks for the comments guys :smile:. It happens no matter where the seat is and as long as the passenger weighs about 100lbs or more. I'll try the silicone spray thing.

check Bullitthead 7dboss302, he had a post awhile back about the passenger seat rubbing. Several people responded with the same problem. Ford has a problem with the passenger seat that needs to be fixed.
