sweet!
looks like Dave R will not be able to make all of the cruise. it will still be fun to have 6 to 8 Bullitts in one place!
not quite as cool as the Dallas Bullittheads 10 Bullitts in one place but cool nontheless!

Teresa, the kids, and I all had a great time. Just dirving our Bullitts is fun but to see all the other Bullitts was just awsome. It was a real treat to hear some one start their Bullitt and think to yourself, "Hey, that's my car" or to try and pop some one else's (Steve's) trunk to get my stuff out. Also be warned, Steve really knows how to launch his Bullitt!!! He doesn't call himself cmezip for nothin. And his wife Ann pulled me twice as well but hey a Bullitt won every time! Great food and company all around. It will be a lot of fun to do this every now and again and see how our Bullitts evolve.

Yep, the Show Me Mustang Club 1st Annual Louisiana (Bullitt) Cruise was a success. 7 Bullitts showed, 6 drove. I was surprised the black cars outnumbered the green cars 2-1! We'll definitely be doing this again, but it's harder to plan a cruise in the winter. Some cars get parked until spring, your planned day turns into a blizzard, etc. Don't forget our annual Kick-Off party for members in January! Check our web site (www.showmemustang.com) for future events.

without question,....one of the very best "Car Days" i have EVER had!!!
Dona, thank you for taking time out to come by and say hello with everything you had going on!!
Dale, Kelly, and David C., you were missed very much and i hope you can make it soon!
the few of you i don't know who emailed me at the last minute,...sorry i was off work Friday and couldn't get back to you BUT we'll do this again. we put around 200 miles on our babies with the "Cruise" saturday.....what a BLAST!!!!!
now, my 3 best parts of the day
1.) met some very nice and cool people who also happen to be Bullitt owners. what are the chances that evreyone would end up so nice and get along so well together?
2.)the looks we got everywhere we went. starting with all the people slowing down to see 7 Bullitts in the parking lot.....to all the looks we got in every small town we drove through when people saw 6 beautiful Bullitts and heard 6 Bullitt engines running/reving at the same time.
3.) and talk about beautiful............those engine sounds were a perfect "symphony"!! (i had never heard another person's Bullitt and had never heard my Bullitt from the OUTSIDE of the car) man, it was a gorgeous sound!!
towards the end in illinois when we got pretty "playful", we would have 4 or 5 Bullitts at 3/4 to full acceleration at the same time. we'd pull up at a light and have 4 or 5 Bullitts gunning their engines and taking off at full throttle at the same time. i can NOT describe what an incredib;le noise it was, but i've never heard ANYTHING like it and want to tell everyone......
GET OUT ON A HIGHWAY WITH SOME OTHER BULLITTS AND JUST ABSORB AND TAKE IN THE SOUNDS................you'll be glad you did!!! i promise!!!!!
thanks to everyone, especially steve for taking the pics!
(steve & ann,....a husband and wife with twin baby Bullitts........VERY COOL!!!!!!)

Marty, Kelly and I took our mini Louisiana on Monday and had a blast. Wide open roads and not a cloud in the sky. Only one negative, ran into a 3-mile stretch of a road resurfacing project on the Il. side of the river. 6 hours of detailing work followed. (sand mixed with oil)Can't wait to take a drive with you guys. Dale

I practiced launching the green one when the wife wasn't looking  Me and my wife had a blast, except she won one race and she keeps saying I let her win Whatever  (I messed up on the launch she really did win) I would like to do it again, maybe we can get the track at Gateway for a day that would be great! If the weather keeps up like this we would be set to head over to Gateway.
