STEEDA BULLITT Tune

Steeda has a good reputation with tunes for the 4.6 3 valve.
But for the 19+ Coyote, I am unsure.
But first question, why do you what a tune?
What is a few more HP worth?
And what about the OEM warranty?

It depends upon how you plan to use the car. I like running HPDEs two or three times a year. So this would be worth it to me. While the HP gain isn't all that significant the throttle response and potential MPG gain is in my opinion. Again, it depends upon how you plan to use the car.

I've posted this elsewhere but couldn't find it so here we go again. The gent who does most of the primary tuning for STEEDA is 'Tuning by James'. He is, IMHO, the wizard of tuning, especially for all Stangs.

He & I were just conversing the other day and he's saying w/an E85 tune, you're looking at 50+ RWHP. W/premium, it's more like 30 RWHP/torgue- amazing for just a tune, no other mods.

I'm a huge STEEDA tune fan- never had ANY issues w/my STEEDA tunes- strong, linear, powerful & safe.

Yes, a tune is the entire pkg...not simply HP gains!! I have mine from James and will install next week!! For us off the road til the 20th..but I’ll check back in then!!

Want this tune...He does the McQueen edition tune also...so I bet he knows how to stroke the Pony!

James is and has been the long-time tuner for STEEDA's tunes.

I strongly recommend Steve Shrader at Shrader performance. I own a 2020 Bullitt European version and tune has changed the entire vehicle.
Pulls hard right through the entire rev range. Engine is now smoother and more refined.

.exhaust bangs and pops more in track mode.
. Comes with Ghost Cam tune too which sounds amazing

. Also Steve alters the valves on the active exhaust so now in quiet mode the more I put my foot on the gas the louder it gets. The valves open and close on demand of the throttle input.

+1 for James of Tuning by James. James is a patient and friendly guy. I'm the 2nd owner of my Bullitt and luckily inherited the Steeda tune. I recently called him up and talked to him to ask if there are any noticeable differences between his original tune versus his "gurgle" variant and how to obtain it. Even though I caught him at a busy time, he never rushed me and was able to answer all my inquiries. He hooked me up with the "gurgle" variant for free and I've been happy ever since with the added performance over stock along with soundtrack added back.

Yes don’t do it!! If had nothing but problems and weeks till I get a response. All there tunes still don’t work properly and cause check engine lI guys and tons of other falts. Go with VMP

I've used a variety of tuners on all my Stangs (since '88) and no one has come close to what STEEDA produces. I've never had an issue w/STEEDA tunes and never heard anyone ever complain about their tunes either. And 'Tuning by James' -who builds most of the STEEDA tunes- does awesome work.

Yeah I have used them for years but never any tunes. A guy named Matt is doing them now. The issue is zero response or help and it’s been weeks now. They only responded by sending me the same tunes that don’t work right. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Sorry to hear that. As far as I know, James is the only one who built the tune for STEEDA for the Bullitt. Perhaps reach out to him, see if he can help?
