I looked at it,but was afraid it might change the exhaust note to much. My 85 351W LX has a Dr.Gas X-pipe setup,3 inch,I designed, and it sounds...well like a throaty pissed off bumble bee at 6000 RPM! It does work very well though! 11.7s at 118 all motor and mild street gears and auto. However,I am quite pleased with the modified factory cat setup on the Bullitt, makes it sound a lot deeper!
Bad to da bone!

Man, I'm glad someone brought this topic up. I want to add a Dr Gas X pipe to mine and keep the stock mufflers as I love their sound too. Thinking I want to add the BBK full length headers, the Dr Gas Xpipe w/ high flow cats and hook up to the stock mufflers. I'll take the bit of loos power in the stock mufflers to keep the sound.
