Anybody else thought about these? I'd love to have them, but I do love the stock exhaust. Along with the expence of the exhaust and installation, the rear bumper cover would have to be replaced with one with no cutouts.

These would look sooooo cool. :grin:

I have the KAR KRAFT Borla side exhaust.
I think they lost the contract or something with Borla, as Steeda came out with the side
exhaust shortly after this happened.
They are GREAT!!!!!
LOOKS GREAT, SOUNDS GREAT.

Steeda's cost over $600.00
Go to www.karkraft.com, they have the covers for the exhaust holes for $69.00 a pair, you paint.
They look good after I installed them.

one question..... when i went to buy a borla side exhaust and it come in to the shop, we found out you can't put a side exhaust on the car with the frame rail connectors. did you take yours off to put on the exhaust. the side exit and the rail connectors aren't compatible with each other.

let me know if i stand to be corrected. (picture needed)

In the recent Road & Track article where they drove the Cobra, Bullitt, GT and Roush Stage III, the writer said the Roush side pipes screwed-up the exhaust sound.

It doesn't screw up the sound. What happens is when you are driving you only hear one side of the exhaust, so it sounds very different. From the outside of the car it's not much different though, provided you are not standing one one side.

How about the rocker panels? Do they have Bullitt-style rocker panels with the exhaust exits, or did you lose the Bullitt rocker panels for this mod?

I have driven a roucsh and they sound very mean. Side pipes are the best if you can get them. Pauls high performace seels them and carries the correct mounting bracket for the gt.

I have the CDC classicdesignconcepts, side exhaust. Came with 2 rocker panels, 2 pieces to cover the rear exhaust port, and 2 spatz for the front......very similair to the Roush Mustangs. The exhaust uses dynomax super turbo mufflers and it sounds badass ! Pauls high performance runs this kit on the dragpak mustangs and he dynoed them to the tune of 8 more ponies compared to stock. I hated the 2 front pieces so I put on the Steeda front splitter.
