redracer and i finally installed a triax shifter in my car tonight. so far, i love the feel of it. i have to give a big thanks to ray ackerman for supplying the shifter at such a reasonable price and for delivering it so fast. these shifters really do make a difference. thanks again ray

How much shorter is the shift

i have mine in the lower position and it shortens the throw up quite a bit. the short throw is nice but the general feel of the shifting is the main thing that i like. all of the slop is gone and you can actually feel the shifter snap into gear. its well worth it
