Does anyone know the reason for the stock Bullitt panhard bar being filled with shot?

After having my new suspension upgrade installed, we noticed that the stock Bullitt panhard bar is filled with what sounds like shot. If you hold the bar and rotate it back and forth, you can hear the 'filler.'

Just wondering what the reason for this is. Harmonics or some other reason?

I know that there are several aftermarket that offer that feature as well... I think it has something to do with slowing the motion of the bar for greater control.

Well if your asking me, everything bolted to the rear axle including the drive shaft is
a band-aid to reduce noise, vibration, harmonics.
Just start changing parts and they will appear....
The upper control arm sitting right on top of the diff dont help!

You're spot on Gene. The amount of engineering that went into keeping the cabin quiet and the unique Bullitt exhaust sound isolated is amazing!
