I wanted to get a strut tower brace, and I thought of a question. Will I need a "Bullitt Specific" brace, or will any one for a GT work? Thanks in advance!

I have been in contact with MAximu Motorsports. They are about to release a strut tower brace for the new Cobra. It may also fit the Bullitt as the throttle body positions are similar. I'll let ya know!

Ford Racing Performance catalog has a strut tower brace part number: M-20201-D46 that they say will fit. Under the description it says "Designed to clear superchargers and Ford Racing intake manifoldl". I would call them at (810)468-1356 and find out for sure if it will clear Bullit intake manifold.

Thing I like about Maximum's brace, is the way they attache it to the cowl. They locate it into a meatier part of the cowl for better structural support.

I ordered the Bullitt strut tower brace from Kenny Brown this morning. John told me that it's powder coated with a "tight" crinkle finish. He said it looks very cool. The part # is KBP29401B. From them it is $159.00. I figured that it would be in better shape when I get it if it didn't go to a distributer first. Who knows for sure. Anyway it's coming.

I'm supposed to recieve my digital camera this week, so when I get it I'll post a picture of the brace installed.

Brian, saw Maximum's add in the new issue of 5.0/Super Ford. they carry some pretty serious suspension parts (and packages)
i was impressed with what i saw!

This might be an item that we could arrange a Bullittclub group purchase on if the interest was there?

That group purchase idea is a good one. Think we could get aluminum driveshafts at a discount if all the "klunkers" wanted to get one?

Had the Kenny Brown strut tower brace installed and the fit is excellent. Really tightens the feel to the car and doesn't affect visual of sticker number. I'll try to get some pics posted. At the same time I had the densecharger installed, and now I have a rattling sound at times when I'm moderately excellerating. Not as please with that addition. Already have tri ax shifter I install, and just got aluminum drive shaft which is next install. Unfortunately I'm a chro-magnum man and have to get others to install some of these items, but i'm hoping alum driveshaft eliminates some of the vibration through the shifter.
