Thought this might be interesting.

Just for a reference I took some readings under the hood after a 30 minute drive in traffic and the temperature was around 112 degrees. All readings were completed within 5 minutes of stopping and the car was left idleing.

You must have some exotic instruments to be able to take all the temps that you did! I thought my husband had a lot of tools!

Mid life,

I'm not sure what scares me more about that post. The fact that you had the time and inclination to do this or that the outside air temp was 112.

Of course, if you talk to my other girlfriend she will tell you that I'm not any better. She gets jealous of all of the attention I give the car!

I used an infrared thermometer while the wife wrote the numbers. I had some more numbers but I did not post them. I was looking for a temp difference before and after the H pipe but it seemed to be within about 4 degrees so I did not put it in the table. Also there is single line infront of the air conditioner condenser. I am thinking it is for the power steering pump, it was around 130. Actually the 112 was pretty comfortable today.
