I have started to pull the engine apart on the 89 Ranger. As it was coming out from under the hood, I started looking at what needs replaced, what needs repaired...

When I started looking at the injectors, I couldn't help but think, they have 170K on them, and just look old. BUT, if they work, awesome... They worked before the truck was torn apart.

Any ideas on how to test one?

Well, out of the car, you could hook up an ohmmeter to them. If any one reads abnormal or open, that's a bad injector. Also, you could put power to them to hear them click. That's about all I can currently think of with them outside the car.
