Hey eveyone.
Haven,t posted in awhile, seems that I don,t have two seconds to myself anymore, just so busy with work, family and just haven,t had any FUN lately.Had to work at the building were I,ve been storing my bullitt for the winter and at the last second before we were to leave I pulled of the cover and fired her up and thought...the hell with storage.
Blasted home from Conn.to Long Island with the sun going down, right combo of heat, exhaust note and tunes and just enjoyed the ride beyond discription.Still smiling from ear to ear.Just love that car and all it,s about.

Please I'm NOT rubbing it in but, you would think that after driving Baby everyday for months and months, that the "Heart beating excitement" would somewhat wear down a little. Let me tell you, I've owned scores of vehicles in my life,(I'm 51) muscle, trucks, and luxury. NEVER has any of them put a bigger smile on my face for so long a period. The initial excitement has always worn down just a little. But not with this car!. To all of you storage people, absence makes the heart grow fonder may give you a heart attack from the surge of excitement when you finaly take her out this spring. In a way I envy you all when you back her out for her first spring run, but I think that same "first time" feeling will be with some of us daily people for a long time yet. Others are faster, but none as fun. Dave

The only Bullitt I have seen since October are the ones posted here! #344 is still under cover and I have not gone out to uncover her just to take a peek. Hubby starts her up every now and then and lets her breath a little.

Let me tell you about sad. I walk by my bullitt every day to hop into my POS Geo Storm. Poor little bullitt has just sat there since September. I am starting to feel that she is p*ssed at me because of my neglect. She knows I am cheating on her with a POS with 92hp. I am hoping the weather and spring come around the end of March and I can take her out of storage and give her the TLC she deserves.

Bullitt1853,don't forget she is a woman. Communication is key. Let her know that she is not being neglected, but she is there waiting because you care for her well being, and that you still love her. Maybe buy her a rose scented air freshener, or maybe gently and caressingly apply a little leather conditioner to her steering wheel. She will smile......
