The filter condom ! A must have for JLT type CAI.

With the JLT CAI setup, the large air filter is mounted down low inside the fender to catch cold, but somewhat, dirty air. To prevent the filter from getting clogged, from daily driving,I found a nice nylon fabric type prefilter, that slips right over the filter. It is easy to remove and clean. It also prevents water saturation of the filter! Just got finished with the install!
The prefilter is made by AFE...Part No. 28-10092. Ordered it thru Summit..About $30.00
They have other sizes, but this fits the filter supplied with the JLT CAI kit.
Oh, and it can be quickly removed for those all out blasts down the track!

Maybe you find something else to use them for.

Cool idea Larry. We get occasional strret flooding in Houston. I would be scared to death to have the filter in the well.
