my lazy bum self was laying down on the couch just now and was watchen some good ol' TV. well i was watching this movie called The Great Escape, pretty good movie if you havent seen it. its old War P.O.W. movie based on a true story.

any how, back to the point, i was watching the cridts and who do i see as the last guy they show standing? Mr. Steve McQueen.

just thought i would share. any how, its a good movie.

Toys R Us has a 'Great Escape' action figure with McQueen, his bike and accessories.

Its GI-Joe sized- no piddly little toys for Steve,

Great movie & Steve does some cool motocycle stunts while trying to elude the Nazi's. If you want to see some other good McQueen action flicks, rent The Getaway, The Sand Pebbles, The Thomas Crown Affair & The Magnificient Seven.

and who can forget....THE BLOB, the towering inferno, the cincinatti kid, Le Mans, Papillion just to name a few....what a guy

& how could I have forgotten The Getaway, with Ali McGraw? Steve does some pretty good driving in the scene right after they rob a bank & he ends up driving up into someone's front porch, after which he just mutters "****!" which is about the only thing you can say after you drive through a porch. Great movie.
