I found a nice Chinese buffet in Holbrook, AZ. Who's up for some?

I'll wait 'til I see an In-N-Out...if I can see the cook cooking in the wok, yes I'll have Chinese...but steam table buffet fare has not done well with me...I now cosign such fare as swill and avoid it.

Fresh Chinese cooking is filling and tasty...always up for that.

Since this type of drive is at the top of my bucket list, talked to the wife and she would be in. this would be the first and only time she has ever gone with me to a car event. She visited one once, briefly, but has not attended with me. My concern will only be that we would want to stop, randomly at whatever nostalgic sites we see and it sounds like that might not work in order to keep up. Will have to wait and see based on the stops that are listed. We definitely would not do the entire drive to Cali, but a good portion of it I think.

Got the green light from the wife on this trip.:D So unless somthing unforseen come's up i'm in. I've been looking at maps and milage and will probably join up in Missouri or Oklahoma. As of right now i'll be traveling solo......but alot of my mustang buddies have volunteered to ride shotgun:drool2: My son lives in Long Beach Ca. so after the show i'll visit with him a couple of days. Than back home the most southern route on Hwy 10. Agree with Tim this is a bucket list item for me.

The run obviously will be the entire stretch....but...if it were me making a choice to do only a partial run, then I would suggest you pick us up in the western section, oklah-nevada. My personal opinion is this is the best 66 section, and, again, imoh, if I were to pick a singular state, it would be AZ.
one week really does not do 66 justice, you can spend weeks. I have travelled 66 numerous times and see something new every trip.
But remember, even though we will be pushing hard and only seeing selected stops, that doesnt mean you cant see other stuff on the return trip!
