Just saw an article on the Mach 1, looks cool, I like the shaker hood, wonder if it boosts performance? I heard, and I can not confirm in any way shape or form that the 6000 car run will not be that low again, unless there is just no interest at all. I understand that the feedback from the Mach 1 at the show was great! Basicaly it will be a Bullitt with the shaker(maybe), different shifter, wing, Grabber blue (or as close as they can get) Orange and I think red. If they decide to build it. I still like the Bullitt better!!!!

Yeah, but if it is built as planned, the Mach 1 will still get that 300 HP 32V engine setup. Now if they keep the price at below the Cobra,27500-28000,that would seem to be a better deal than the Bullitt. The thing that get's me is that Team Mustang, has been sitting on that engine for a while, and should have included it in the Bullitt. That would have been the ultimate Bullitt!

They'd need to return to the induction setup from the '60s with the air filter right on top of the engine just below the ram air intake for it to really work. This sytem is for looks and adds only a small percentage to the in flow. The rest comes from a standard intake like the stock Bullitt.

I love my Bullitt. I already talked to my Ford dealer and he is checking on ordering a Mach 1 for me. If they build I will park it next to my bullitt.
