One member has a $500,000 "garage" along the course.
Downstairs is the (dream) "garage" and upstairs is an incredible apartment. Big windows look out over the garage below. Wide screen closed circuit TV lets you see what is happening all along the track, who and what is out there etc...........
Yes, we should look for one in Georgia or Florida. My guess is that there will be more.
Speaking of private roads: I have wondered about some of these car guys with the incredible collections in their incredible garages. They must have laid at least a mile of clean concrete on their hundred acres to drive their immaculate cars. The staff would, of course, power wash the entire surface daily. dream, dream..........
Daily Unlimited Track Time
Tuesday through Sunday* members will be able to hot lap, perform car testing or practice for a race. 20-30 minute sessions will run throughout the day. Run groups will be determined as needed by the track manager.
*There may be occasions when Autobahn Country Club will host larger scale events that require the use of the full course. For example a historic race or a sanctioned motorcycle race. Income from these events will help to keep members costs down. Member track usage may be limited during these events.
hey the weather is not always crap half the year up here! I am still driving the Bullitt and here it is mid November and the temp got up to 60 yesterday. The car usually comes out the first of April and stays out until mid to the end of November. Plus it is a great way to keep the miles down as I am right around 32,650.
