Don't know why no one has come out with a long tube Tri-Y header for the Bullitt/GT engine. Since this engine has better torque in the 2500-3500 RPM range, over the Cobra, that type header is tuned for that......increase the strong point the Bullitt has, rather than top end. Plus it may be slightly easier to install....very slightly!

Talked with Doug Thorley Headers....They have merged with Jardine, remember them, and are just getting back on their feet. They specialize in the Tri-Y design but have nothing planned yet for the new Mustangs, they do have parts though.....Hmmmmmm! Talked with JBA,they agreed with the theory, but only build smog legal, shorty type headers. I built a version of these for my 85 LX,when a 302,back in 1990,but designed them as a single outlet 8 into 1 header. Wild looking and worked fairly well....12.6s at 109!
