Have had the O/R X-pipe for a year or so,and wanted to try out this idea of having a removable plate,with a X- flow restrictor. With plate installed,80% of the merge hole diameter is closed off,giving that H-pipe type exhaust rumble back.
When you want to go back the the unrestricted X-flow, for top end horsepower,you just remove 4 screws,then replace the divider plate with a blank cover plate.
Finished up the project this evening and the Bullitt type rumble is back,plus a unique exhaust sound with my Totally Tuned Muffler setup!
Sometimes you just have to try wild ideas!

I would be interested. I like the x-pipe for autocross and even other times when I want to be loud but I think that I would like the old school h-pipe sound.
