All i can say is i am totally pleased with my bullitt, not only a head turner at every light i am at but its a fast car Bone stock i ran a 13.5 on street tires and 20 pounds of pressure ... wont go into details but that was it ... look out cobras and camaros dont stand a chance once we get some mt et's and some mods done to this sucker ... i said it was gonna stay stock but just bolt on stuff for warranty reasons ...

I agree!Ever heard of the term bench racing? I have not been to a race track since the late 70-s early 80-s.That was then Eastex dragstrip just north of Houston,Tx.I also street raced on Green Rd and Rankin Rd both areas in North Houston.We then had to move to Knight Rd off highway 288.The moral to that story is that I only relay FACTS in regards to questions as to how fast is your car.People ask about the Bullitt's performance quite often.I quote the times that I have seen on this site,60ft,trap speed,1/4 mile,etc.I do not say that my car ran this or that because I have not been to a track with it.The only thing that I do with every car is by my house there is a state highway where I take off from a dead stop at a marked point to a speed limit strictly enforced sign and then glance at my speedo.The distance is right in between 1/8 and 1/4 mile and it is a slight downhill grade.The Bullitt does this at 95mph.For comparison my 1988 5.0 convt w5spd & 2:73 completely stock w/90,000 does it at 85mph.My 1996 Saleen S351 did it at 105,my 1996 cobra convt w/45000 miles did it also at 95 w/exhaust upgrade and k&n.These cars are indeed fast as the topic states.For the record the fastest car I ever had for my unofficial test was 120 to 125 range!This was a 5.0 convt w/Major modifications.The previous owner showed me a timeslip in the 12.70s on street tires and this car was an automatic!
