With the really big gears, don't you run out of gear a lot sooner and have to shift sooner?

More air .... less distance .... harder landing?

Yes, I would have to go to a bigger slick. With the new added power I am actually slower to the 60' mark. I am spinning the 26 inch slicks( 1.61 vs 1.51 before). I would probably go to a 28x11.5 to compensate for the gear. As for the landing I guess I will have to stay on the gas.......I hope.
