My gas pedal was stuck down a little bit at a stop light. I was wondering why the engine was revving a bit. I looked at the tach and knew there was throttle. It was fine again as I took off.

Do a Google search on throttle hang up on 99-04 Mustangs. Many posts and videos out there on this subject.

binfortools is probably right, you may need to clean the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve or if cleaning does not work, replace it.

My IAC has been slow to fall back to idle for couple of years. Just haven taken time to clean or replace it. Old people just change gears slower!!

The IAC in 3250 malfunctioned just over 30K miles.
I tried cleaning but ended up changing the component and the car has run fine ever since.

Thank you Jerry. If it happens again, I will have the IAC replaced. My B #344 only has 34,700 miles on it.
