I have about 4K miles on #4137, and I had not planned on rotating the tires in the hopes of replacing the rears sooner than later. I will either go to a set of stickier 17's or go all the way and get the 18x9's and 275's. Either way, is tire wear the only issue with not rotating the tires? Should I switch the fronts and leave the rears in place??

Rotate them every 5K. If you want to replace them sooner just go out and have a little fun with your bullitt. I plan I replacing the stock tires next summer, whether the the original tires or worn or not. I can always keep the orginal set for a rainy day. I did that for my '90LX I still have the original wheels and tires that were on it.

The tires on our cars are directional (look on the side wall and notice the arrow). If you rotate them you need to keep the tires on the same side, in other words, right front to right rear and right rear to right front, etc. You should not switch the front tires from LF to RF, etc. You can do it that way only if you dismount and reverse the tire on the rim, PITA and not worth it.
