I put the shocks on last night and set them to number 3. Defiantly a smoother ride compared to the inexpensive Gabriels that I had on. Just by compressing the two shocks at the same time and releasing (with one set on 5 and the other on 1), the softer 1 fully expanded twice as fast as the one set at 5.
So I am pretty sure you will be able to tell a difference and find a setting that should work for you. I will add a page to the Bullittarchive site later but the main thing I learned was you need to add some type of lubricant to the rubber bushing when installing the shocks in the top mount. Otherwise you don’t have enough threads showing to start tightening the top nut.
I got them from Prostreetonline.com their part number was TOK-BE3723, their website says up to year 2000 but the part number is listed elsewhere as up to 2004.
