Just what type of tranny is it anyway. I've heard Tremec, but don't they still put a Borg Warner in the Cobra?? Maybe someone can help. Thanks.

The transmission is a new Tremec 3650. Both the GT and the Cobra share it now for 2001. It has more torque capacity than the T5.

I wouldn't mind a T56 myself.. :smile:

Borg Warner and Tremec are the same company! One bought the other a few years ago.
