I am in the process of replacing the 3rd gear components in the Tremec. I know lots of people have had problems with this transmission. I use an MGW shifter, with the stops out (like Tremec recommends). Promotion Powertrain tells me I need to set the stops so the shifter handle takes the force instead of the forks.

Is there anyone out there who has had problems with the 3650 while using the stock Ford shifter?
