I just called Fordspeed and ordered the new shifter. I am #1 of twenty orders needed to have them ship at the special price of $149.00. I believe this runs for a couple of weeks into Nov. Not sure of the date the special ends.

Thank you, yes I read the latest threads before I ordered. As I am not in a hurry I will be willing to wait for the shifter. Based on the number of people having already ordered the shifters I feel one or two negative experiences is about normal, nobody is perfect. I suspect that the people at Fordspeed have gotten an earfull especially if they have been on this site and have read the positive and negative comments. I suspect they have made adjustments to their system. I say give em a second chance, as we all can use one once in awhile...
