a ford rep will know probably less than some of us do on this board. We are the ones with the final product that are being run on the dynos and 1/4 tracks. I've seen the Bullitt's dynoing anywhere from high 220'srwhp to 240rwhp. Tourque anywhere from low 260's to high 270's.
I'm guessing the average to be around 233rwhp and 270rwtq. Assuming a 15% drivetrain loss to the wheels, that equates to around 275 hp and 315 tq. That's pretty much in line with what the original Ford specifications were supposed to be. I don't believe anyone "got cheated" on the power in most cases. I KNOW I didn't in #1584. I got all of it and then some.

I completely agree. The end users are the best source of this information. It seems worst case is 265 with the average being in the 275 area. I am much happier they under rated them than over rated them, that way no one feels cheated.
