Scanned a few old threads on tuning. My takeaways were: get a tune vs. don't bother (no real ROI)....some folks happy with canned tune (no clear winner on who from) vs. only get a custom tune (dyno if possible). Any new developments that would lead to a clear choice? Thanks.

I just ordered a Bama x4/sf4 for my 09 and will report back.

I installed the Bama 93 octane today and went for a quick drive. Throttle response is definitely better and smoother in general plus it feels overall faster than before. Only measurable difference I have is the 2nd gear wheel spin is quite a bit more than the stock tune even with TCS engaged. I couldn't get out of 2nd gear on the road I was on but looking forward to making some pulls tomorrow through 3rd gear.
