Have you guys ever heard of this????I was at my friend's upholstry shop and I told him that I saw a 68 Dark Green Mercury Cougar at a local car show that he had worked on....He told me that the guy parks it outside and uses two car covers on it....One is waterproof and the other one is to protect the paint.....Never heard of such a thing.......

I forget what company makes it but they make a car bag, you have to use a car cover with it. Unless you mean cover over cover bottom open. Maybe its old thinking or old covers, the new high end car covers keep the water out and are soft on your paint no scratches.

That is what Gail and I use on 4175! the bottom cover next to the paint is extreamly soft and the top cover is water resistant! both breath very well! I have uncovered the car 6 hours after raining and it was completely dry so I am not at all worried about it holding in moisture
