Sorry if this was discussed, but U/D pulleys seem like the next mod after my 3.73's and Al D/S get here. As I understand it, their purpose is to reduce rotation of accessories, therefore reduce power loss from the crank and transfer that power to the tranny.
Two questions:
1. Is there a noticeable power gain to the rear wheels?
2. Does the use of U/D pulleys reduce the effectiveness of the affected accessories (i.e. lower alternator output, harder powersteering or lower Air cond. potential)
I would hate to put these on and find out everything else on the car doesn't work as well.
