How about swapping in the old 427 SOHC,with an EFI setup. The two are probally the same width. Now that would be wild!

If you wanted to save some weight over the front end, you could try a race prepped 351C.

Depending on how big the bag of cash is, why not try the V10, could be made into a DOHC, and tuned for non truck use. I did see an article where I think it was a Crown Vic they put a V10 into.

They had a Mustang down here in Las Vegas last year with a V-10 in it. The called it the Stallion and it really would light 'em up!

Big Block,
Hmm. I'll wait for the "new" GT40 10 or 12 cylinder. Hey Nasty, Is the Stallion you're talkin about White Blue and Green? The Stallion I saw and have in my SVT qrtly rag is a twin turbo setup "V8" 500+ on gas and pushing 600HP on methanol. Completely chromed out engine bay and all.

Only dislike of the V-10s,and Ford's may be better in this,is they sound terrible. The Dodge Vipers, and trucks with V-10, really need some kind of V-8 growl to them. I heard a guy go by,with a Dodge V-10 truck, with glass pack type mufflers, and it was worse than a coffee canned ricer!

This one was blue and white and the V-10 engine came out of a Ford truck, but was heavily worked over to make it scream. What's surprising, it fit without much modification. (???)
