Well if you seen my earlier post on my car you could see all the minor problems with my car. If not here they are: Battery hold down broken/missing, driver seat fold lever kept falling off, and the big one right rear caliper was leaking from the pistion.

Here it is day 5 and still no car. Took them 2 days to even look at the car and 2 more to order parts. Today they ensured me that i would have the car. Well the big jackasses ordered the wrong caliper. Thats right they ordered a regular GT caliper. I even told the service manager to make sure they ordered the right parts.

So i'm stuck without my Bullitt again for another day. And they won't get the right parts in till prob Tuesday. Needless to say i'm very dissatisfied with my dealer and is wondering what you all you say/do about their service?

Tom,
You know what we are going to tell you, they are doing you wrong.....Problem is it is kind of like yelling at the chef and telling him to cook the steak again. Like no body would be afraid to eat it after insulting him. Same with the car. We are pretty much at their mercy, we know it they know it. They could end up waiting weeks for the parts. Then we don't know if they are being honest with us or just messing around lieing to our face. I think a lot of people will tell to write a letter. You get to vent, you get to go back and change the words and I know they treat letters different than the phone call to the manager or a yelling match. They don't like you putting things down on paper. Before you bought the car you had power because you had the money and they wanted it, now you can write letters and they do not want that. Perhaps write two letters and show them to the manager, I can send your boss this one or this one, which do we want to do.

Dont feel bad Tom U arent alone I figure there are more crap dealers than good ones. All I can say is mine SUCKS! I will never buy another thing from them. I could rant on about the things they dont do but i figure its wasted breath!! Thanx Havgun #1676

But then again Ford bares most of the blame had they built a quality product it wouldnt have to be in the shop so often. I do Love my Bullitt though but like I said Fords quality has taken a serious nose dive as evident from this forum and from this one model ford!

One other thing ! Ford has a Gold mine here on this forum for quality issues if they would just take a look and compile a nice long book of the various defects and then address them with there quality teams! Ok i am done now Thanx Havgun #1676

I'd have to say that my favorite Ford dealership for service [and sales ] is Bowen Scarff Ford in Kent, Washington (between Seattle and Tacoma).

Oh yeah, I work there so I'm probably a little biased. LOL!

But, for real, I do take all of my Fords there and they always do it right the first time. Whether it's oil changes in my '00 GT or the 4.10 Traction-Lok they put in my T-Bird last year. Our techs our tenured; we don't have the high turnover rate that a lot of shops experience.

And, I've had pretty good luck with Pacific Coast Ford in Federal Way, Washington as well. They've always done it right the first time, even if they haven't always finished when they promise.

Don't get me started about how incompetent the fools are at Sound Ford in Renton, Washington. By far the worst. They are thieves, they do lousy work, they don't get the work done on time and their sales staff is a bunch of crack heads. And I am not alone in my opinion here.

And then there's Korum Ford in Puyallup, Washington. They will do absolutely no performance upgrades, even though they sell Ford Racing Parts. I've tried a few times to get simple things like gear swaps done with Ford parts and they refuse. I was even told one time that I should be lucky enough to own a new Mustang and that there would be no benefit to shorter gears. Fools.

I could laugh all day when people complaint about bad customer relationship with Ford. Ford has the worst customer relation, nobody should be dealing with Ford but sometime you help it. Ford just don't care about there customer and that's a fact. Just read all the complaints on this web page. When I used to work for Ford only thing they care about is the bottom line and not customer satisfaction. So all this compliant about Ford does not surprise me a bit. Fortunatly my #305 is doing good and even if there is something wrong with it I just fix it myself. I know all of you can just fix your car but find a good dealer and just keep trying.

Find a new Ford Dealer in your area and give them your business. The dealership I purchased from is NOT where I take my car if I have a problem or need service. It's a beautiful thing to have a choice.

Get yourself a lawyer and you'll find out that the dealer is obligated to providing you a loaner if the car is left at the dealer over so many days. A buddy of mine took his blue Bullitt in, and they gave him an Escort until his was ready. That's the way it should be.
I might be wrong but that's what I heard...

Some dealers are full of sh*+ and freakin bastards that P!$$ you off.

I have not had to take my Black Bullitt #305 to dealer for warranty yet, and I have 5400 miles on it right now. I don't think I will have any problem with this car. I had my 1998 Mustang GT with automatic and it never gave me any problems, I traded that in at 32650 miles for the Bullitt. I am sorry for all those people out there with all the problems but I guess that's how mass production works.

Hello
I bought my car from th local GM dealer. I take my car to Ken Knapp Ford in Essex. 1st time to get drivers door aligned and a rocker panel tightened. the service man said lets walk around the car and look. He sees a sag in the front dam and we get that fixed too. Also they repainted under the hood where the hood supports meet and the paint was pulled off at the factory because they closed the hood to soon. I loved there service. Gave me a focus for a loaner and said sorry no turbo available
