Has anyone ever installed a Vortex Valve in the air intake? http://www.vortexvalve.com The concept seems sound. Only $60 for a set for the Bullitt. If it gives you 2-4 mpg, it would pay for itself. No real figures are given on mpg, hp torque.

Does anybody know about these valves?

All I can say is, if it worked it would come from the factory that way.

Save your $60 and put it towards something that will give you real benefit like gears.

It's real simple: Where are the DYNO number? No DYNO no sale.

IMO, there's only one mod worth doing to a Bullitt that will yield enough power difference to warrant the effort: a supercharger. Otherwise, enjoy the car and save up for the supercharger. :wink:

Here is what their sales department sent me when I asked for DYNO numbers:

Dear Ernie: Thanks for the email. We haven't had a chance to get the Bullit to the Godfather of Dyno yet. I will tell you this. The horsepower gain is awesome and the torque, especially on the low end, is brutal. We are scheduled for a dyno in early February. We will publish the results with pictures.

I must say the performance spell really works! Within moments after the call I could tell that I had more horsepower and higher gas mileage. I now run consistently in the low 9's in quarter mile times and get 45 miles to the gallon! Thanks performance spell!
