i know EXACTLY how you feel!!
god, i love walking towards my Bullitt from a distance.....ESPECIALLY if i am staring directly at the front end. it still looks as cool to me as the day i bought it!
hmmm,....maybe we should do some sort of charlton heston/ NRA take-off but apply it to our Bullitts......you know.... "the day i give up my gun is the day you pry it from my cold dead hands" sort of comment but for the Bullitt...............
any ideas??

I had my daughter take #66 around the block for me Sat to settle the suspension after installing the panhard bar,me being too grubby to get in the car. Watching it pull away, man, it looked great!..
you know something brian?......i've been DYING to have someone else drive my Bullitt past me and "away" from me a few times so i can hear what it sounds like from OUTSIDE the car and behind the car when it drives away..... just don't want to let any of my friends drive it yet???
how's it sound pulling away when YOU are on the curb???????/
I've mentioned this before about the red running horse. That if you drive right next to the Bullitt and look at the wheels, the brake calipers stay still while the spokes go round and round and it looks like the horse is actually running behind the spokes (fence)! It is the neatest thing! So when someone is driving next to you and looking at your wheels, chances are that they are looking at the running horse running!
I catch myself driving by shopping centers with lots of glass so I can stare at the reflection of my Bullitt while I'm driving. I can't stare for too long though. I'm afraid I'll run into somebody.
It's nice to know that I'm not the only one obsessed with admiring my own car! I can't get enough of it. When she's all cleaned up (which is most of the time) I have to take several minutes to stand back and admire. The other day I was on my way home and a friend of mine was noticing how many heads were turning to look at the car, like something was wrong. I told her something was wrong....they all wished they had a Bullitt!!
