Tom, are you picking yours up at DMV or AAA? I picked mine up at the Auto Club the day they called me and the day I posted. As he checked me in, the branch manager was telling me that they had received 50 sets of personalized plates that day, and he had detailed one employee who spent the day calling the people who ordered the plates. That guy came over while I was transferring plates and asked if the phone message he left me was clear; he was excited about the plates and wasn't sure he spoke slowly enough to be understood.
Anyway, 50 plate orders at one time to one AAA office seems like a lot to me, so maybe they are collecting orders to be sent in bunches or something. I hope they come for everyone soon!

Still waiting. I arranged to have my order sent to local auto club office. Since I moved after placing my order, I fear they are sitting on a shelf. I left a message with them to search for the plates. Fingers crossed.

If you're talking about the sequential black and gold plates, they are stamped LNNNLN with no spaces. A plate with the sequence LLL NNN would have to be personalized, and would probably not be approved since it still could be a valid plate.
