Just got Simoniz car washer for Christmas. Its the piece that attaches to the hose with a brush on the end that spins. Have any of you guys used this.

I would be VERY hesitant to use anything like that on my beloved 5135.

I would be afraid of scratching it with the brush. Soft cotton wash mitts ONLY for me, one for the top half and another for the bottom half.

i too think it will cause more "spiderwebs" than regular washing!

DON'T DO IT!
It will absolutely scratch the clear coat!
The only brushes I have heard of that are
supposed to be gentle on paint are made of
boar's hair. I have not used them but DHG
3875's paint isn't going to be a test bed!

Just my 4.6 cents.
