I've been experiencing what I consider unusual water spot issues. I put three coats of Zaino (two of Z2, one of Z5) in October before temperatures dropped. Since then, I've been experiencing increasing water spots after rain, snow, or just the morning's condensation. Last night and this morning was a rain/snow mix, and the spots are the worst they've ever been. Have a look at the pics I've linked to below. Is this a down-side to Zaino? Is this a result of a mistake on my part? Is this normal and I'm just over-reacting?

Oh, btw, in the first picture...the big fluffy blobs are cloud reflections, not spots. I think the reflections are self-evident in the other two pics.

How easily do the spots wash off? From the pics it looks like there is a great deal of particulate matter in the water (perhaps it has to do with the time of year: trees, pollen, salt, other fallout, etc.)

I've had worse, but that's probably because the rain in southern cali is 50 % dirt, 49 % foreign matter, and 1 % water. They look normal to me. Dark colors generally spot really bad.

I just went out with my duster and they mostly came off. The strong color of them is gone so it doesn't look like a leopard, now. There's still quite a bit of spotting, though it's not so noticeable. The rear bumper is still a mess. No, I won't torture you with more pics.

Thanks for the input, folks!

I have a sure fire way to eliminate the water spotting problem:

That would require serious construction on my unit that I don't think the landlords or neighbors would appreciate.

Well what I do is wash her in the driveway, then drive to my local 25 Cent car wash and rinse her of with what they call spot free rinse.... It's only 3 block from my home.

Looks like you may have very hard water in your area...

399 gets spots like that if I dont hand dry it after a rain or washing it.Im looking for a wax that dosnt bead.We have hard water here so when the Beads dry ,it leaves spots. My suggestion is Wax with a buffer and then hand dry when wet.

I'd have to do that just about every morning, then. I think I'll just put up a garage.
