Well how about that. Now for what $200,000-300,000,maybe they could get Saleen to furnish his all aluminum 400 inch S-7 engine for the program. I mean it is already proven and emissions legal and makes 500-600 HP.
Now only if they can get it to be around 65,000. I doubt it though. Hmm I dont want to sell my bullitt so maybe I will sell my brothers bullitt and his other 2 cars. then take out a 20yr loan. Sounds good.
The only boundary I can think of is that only 1/2 of 1% of the population can afford this car. Seems to be a pretty big boundary for me. Now, if only that winning lottery ticket would come through.... SIGH....
Ok, so I can hear my wife now... It doesn't have a back seat for the children, we already have 4 cars what do you want another for... ;-( Ok I want one, where do I sign up. Maybe I sell her BMW and have her drive the Bullitt.
I saw the GT40 on display at the Chicago Auto Show last week. The car is amazing. They said it will produce well over 500 hp, and will go easily over 200mph. They also had the original GT40 parked next to it. Very nice display.
Why does Chicago get all the unique cars at that show? We get the crumbs down here! Well Chrysler did have a couple of their concept cars at our little ol' Va. show. But the 03 Cobra was a no show.
Pretty nice ride. Too bad it will most likely retail for over $100K. It would be nice if it was only around $40K, and they took kidneys and lungs as trade-ins.
