I have the Diablo chip, and I really like it so far. It corrected my speedo after the 3.73 gears were installed, and the Bullitt feels like it is pulling harder. I have to re-dyno it to see what hp increase I gained, but I added a Magnaflow X-pipe and the chip at the same time.

Thanks, Wade, that is interesting info. I hope to see similar gains myself.

I have a Superchip from Pauls High Performance. Part of the reason why I got it is because I put 3:73 gears in and they calibrated my chip to compensate for the speedometer change. I have absolutly no complaints from my chip and Paul was very helpful. I can't speak from experiance with the dyno, but I am very happy with the superchip and I'm sure others here will agree with me.

Hey Ray,

Check out my new product (MAFterburnerTM and MAFterburnerTM Plus+) at:

http://www.seanhylandmotorsport.com

Click on the screenshots link and check out the Graphical Tuning Utility window. It is very intuitive and easy to use.

You would definitely be able to tune your A/F ratio correctly YOURSELF. All you would need to do it head off to a dyno that has a wide-band O2 sensor and I guarantee that within an hour (or so), *you* could have your A/F set just where you want it.

Mark

Hi Mark, will the MAFterburnerTM over ride a custom chip program? Like a superchip. How is the info stored in the car for the A/F by the MAFterburnerTM? The box with the wires coming off it, does it get installed in the car and save the new A/F settings?
I see your taking advanced orders when will the MAFterburnerTM ship? Thanks, this looks like a great product.

Yes.

The MAFterburnerTM is installed in the car, it piggybacks off of the PCM harness. On board there is a digital signal processor with FLASH memory. That is where the program and your configuration data is stored. It will retain its memory indefinitely (even without power applied).

The MAFterburnerTM will be arriving at SHM by April 10th. All preorders will more than likely ship within a week of that date BUT I'll have to check with Sean to be sure.

Thanks for checking it out. I think that as someone who has been fighting the "chip" war, you understand just how this product can be applied to save you time and a lot of headaches. Also, as your mods change, you can simply reprogram the MAFterburnerTM to get the most from those changes.

Take care,

Zone-5 Performance Products

P.S. This product was developed by me in order to fix my overly rich A/F ratio on #5434 as it came from the factory. It was such a success that I decided to make it available to others. Hope it can help you solve your problems. Enjoy the car.
