I was in a friends subaru wrx tonight and he was showing me his short shifter and i really like the feel of the shifter compared to the huge blocky throw of the stock bullitt shifter. Will a Tri-ax give me this same short ratchety throw? Will it also shorten the length of my shifter? (no pun intended ) I am going to buy one of these ASAP if it does. Thanks guys....and gals

Yes, and Yes. The throw may not be as short as that of your buddies WRX, but it is a big improvement.

Not to mention, it has stops to keep you from overthrowing and potentially bending a shift fork. It has two settings for height too.

The lower height setting shortens the throw quite nicely.

Fordspeed is still running a special on the shifters until about mid - Nov., call them for details.
