Nice looking 85 you've got there.. we've got one of those sitting in our garage right now. It doesn't get out very much. It's completely stock and has a little over 24,000 miles on it. The only thing wrong with it is a crack in the windshield.. I might have to get around and take some pictures of it sometime.

As for what wheels to put on it, go with whatever you think you'd like the most. Who cares about everyone else, make yourself happy. Right?

That is a really clean 85. Where did you pick it up at?

As for the wheels, if you like the Pony wheels, get a set, but keep those. If they are as clean as the rest of the car, they are hard to come by.

I know that everyone will hate me for this, but I saw a post somewhere with a silver '85 that had Bullitt wheels. I thought that is looked great, plus you can get a good deal on the group buy.

I think the 85 is a 4 lug wheel?

Yeah to run Bullitt wheels you will need 94-95 (96 to present will work, but sit out about 8mm more) front brake setup in the front and at minimum, '83-'92 Ranger/Bronco II driver side axle (29-5/32") from a 4cyl or 3.0L V-6 with the 7.5" rear end, or '86-'97 Aerostar RIGHT side axles (29-5/32) in the rear with 5 lug drums from the ranger.

Okay, so maybe it's more hassle than it is worth, but you've got to admit that they look good.

Its not that bad to convert to 5 lug with the 85 you have to put the spendels & rotors off a SN95 then you can get 5 lug drums & axels cost about $400-$500 & then use bullitts may run you about $600 or so
the thing is 4 lug rims are hard to come by now & the ones you do cost ya
