My biggest gripe is that this nation will never really be a whole until we all stop identifying ourselves as African American, Irish American, Mexican American, where ever the hell you're from American. If you were born here, you're an American. PERIOD. Until people get behind that idea, we are always going to have a weak identity as a nation.
