I just finished modding my fuel cap and stood back to admire my car and noticed something peculiar. On the center caps of the wheels on the right the ponies are running to the back while the ones on the left are running forward. Is it just me??? Do any of you know if there are left and right center caps so that you can have the little buggers all facing front??? If I can get my bloody scanner working I'll post my latest pics.
Hey mus408 question for you. After you installed your Densecharger did your car sound noticeably different. Mine seems to have a deeper growl.

Roushraven: Ever since 1964 Ford decided to have the ponies run towards the left in a (sort of) act of defiance. You see, in the real world, horses run to the right on a race track. If you look at all of your ponies anywhere on your car, they will all be facing left.

Another factor, to. All of the wheels are obviously built the same. That is, all of the Mustangs will be running to the left. BUT, when they are installed on the cars, the ones on the left side will be facing in the opposite direction from the ones on the right. You will also notice this on any sport wheel on cars that have a "uni-directional" design. It seems goofy when you think about it, but- no one sees both sides of a car at the same time, so who really notices?

Roushraven, It does make a deeper growl,due to the lower restriction air filter and no silencer,not to mention my foot stuck in the accelerator!!!

Hey Roushraven,

If you're living in the UK, you'll find the ponies running to the left, counterclockwise, just like your wheels. Just call it the Ascot effect.
