Does your transmission whine (noise not the drink!!) in first and second gear?
Compared to my 99GT this thing whines like crazy!
That’s the first thing I noticed when I picked it up.
Also does your clutch grab close to the floor?
I started to notice 1st and 2nd gear crunch when it’s cold.
I guess I have to pay a visited to my dealer

Actually mine does this as well. The cold temps make it worse. As soon as it starts warming up it stops "crunching" between first and second. What I do in the cold is double clutch on 1st to 2nd upshifts till it warms. I ususally double clutch on all down shifts. The "whine" you here is likely the synchro's adjusting to your shifting. The Bullitt uses the same Tremec trans that the Cobra uses. It is quite different from the GT's trans. The Tremec is more of a straight cut tooth so it is also tougher on the synchro's. The dealer will tell you the same unless there is some other problem.

The loud whine in 1st and 2nd is common in a cold TR3650. It's always there. Some days worse than others. 2731 is at the dealer right now getting a new tranny. They did the shift fork replacement back in November. BTW, the TR3650 was phased in in April of 2001 for all Cobras, Bullits and GTs.
