Whippin' up on a LS1 SS Camaro

I know I have a GT500 now but since I hang out with Terry the Bullitt mascot and did so this evening i thought I would share a little street action i encountered on my way home from a test ride in a car I know all of you will appreciate.Terry should have the pics and story together tomorrow.
feeling in the Mustang spirit as i was cruising home listening to some Johhny Lee Hooker,Yes I like the Blues as I seem to live them:lol: I get to a stoplight as these smart fellers or was it fart smellers pull up next to me and give me a challenge.Not knowing exactly what this LS1 powered car had done to it i figured that it could get interesting.The light turns green and we rool out kinda slow as they slam it to the floor I do the same.T/C on for safety:lol: my tires start to skate as I reach the top of first and really start to skate as I ripped second.It doesn't really matter though as these dudes were already fading away!
This is only my second kill in the car as I don't get challenged often enough

With these results I feel pretty confident that the outcome would have been similar in #2310 which has moved on to a good home I hope.
Feel free to add your kill stories to mine.BTW these activities took place on a remote highway in Mexico which is conspicuously on the way home in Tennessee.:lol:

The T/C on the GT500 is not as invasive as I remember it being on the Bullitt.It will let you get the tires moving pretty good before it shuts her down,Honestly I don't actually remember it"Kicking in" as it does in the Bullitt.It must be some sort of extremely gradual application due to the way it operates and the supercharger.In the Bullitt I remember it getting on my nerves when I would forget to disable it

Yes he would have been in this car. I just left him after doing a Photo Shoot of the 2008 Challenger.

ok mark, since you won't fess up...i'm gonna have to spill the beans. everyone, mark traded his gt500 in on that challenger. talk about buyers remorse. he called me up crying on the phone awhile ago. crying! wtf??? someone give me a little help here. mark told me that his gt would only do 110, and when he hit 120 in the challenger, he had no choice but to do the nasty. mark, don't call me up like that anymore. thanks.

A GT500 that would only do 110? Towing what?
