Went on my annual Martha's Vineyard Fishin' Derby trip with the guys this past weekend.

Rented a house that came with an odd bunch of visitors.

Caught some nice Stripers but one of these guys would have been nice for dinner too!

Fall turkey season here in Massachusetts is October 28th - November 2nd.

The neighbors feed these guys grain.

I'm sure they'd be good eatin'.

Several years ago, I was storing my Lemans at my ex-wifes mothers house, and the solenoid went out on it. She lived in the country and had a tom turkey as a "pet." I'd be under the car and it would come right up to me almost stepping on me! They make this weird "thrump" noise and it's kind of unnerving. Totally harmless though.
