On a roll this weekend! Drove the 85 LX out to a great cruise night Friday eve. Took the Bullitt out today for a nice Skyline Drive cruise, stopped in, at Sperryville, and said Hi,to Cooter, yes the real Cooter of Dukes of Hazzard fame! That Bullitt handles like a go kart! In some of those hair pin curves,I was getting that dizzy stomach feeling,Gs,and no squealing of the tires! Hit the turns in 3rd,kept the Revs at about 3000. Clear deep blue sky and 79-80 degrees of mountain air. Just got back from my Sat. evening cruise in the 85.....Wheww I am tired!

Ole Ben is doing fine, sitting by the Gen.Lee signing hats T-shirts,and my coffee mug! He said they are planning a HUGE blowout show there for Aug.24-26. He is planning on having most of the cast, stunt guys,a field of Gen.Lees, band and just a BIG OLE HAPPENING! I will plan on being there for one of those days!

Yep, their all smiles when people let them feel up their female family members just because they're famous

408,
Did you have any female family members with you? Was she missing for a while? Hey across the street was another store. I found some cool pink Flamgos for our frount yard. Kay really loves them.
I had Ben sign 1/25 scale Gen Lee. I think I might get Kay to go back during that big party he has planned. End Aug!!!!

No,this time I was by my lonesome:( Wife had to pick up her sister at the airport. Yeah that store across the street really has some good diecast musclecars. All a bit ex$pensive,I forked over the dough for the DYNO DON NICHOLSON SS/E 68 CJ Mustang! One of my drag racing heros of the '60s.

Sounds like a good excuse for a mountain drive! Yeah it was a bit exspensive, but I was in the mood, and the Bullitt was on it's game! Had a rough week at work, like 5 Mondays in a row, that made it worth it! Hey,I bought one of those special 1994 Mopar Nats. 70 Hemicudas, for $49.00,in 94. Now it is worth some serious dough!
