Turned over to 2,000 just before putting her away for the winter. And that is NOT a typo

How did you find this out?
This was greatly discussed several years ago. ALL 08/09 Bullitts were built using the newer designed heads and plugs. There is a STICKY in the 08/09 Service Department discussing and showing the difference in the plugs.

JUST an additional comment based upon a discussion with the Ford Engineer from one of the Bullitt Nationals. The 08/09 Bullitt short block is NOT like the same as a standard 08/09 GT engines. It has improved oiling to allow for the additional RPM range. In 2010 all the 4.6 engines came with the improvements that were introduced in the Bullitt.

Just a little tidbit of information that in the end, means nothing but still interesting.

(Charles and/or Paul, I loved those meeting with the Ford Engineers during the Nationals...... Hint, Hint)

204K on my Bullitt. Bought it with 45K on it 10 years ago and was my daily driver for 9 years. Major work done is I replaced cams/phasers/chains/tensioners/guards/etc at 199K due to a knocking phaser and blown tensioner (also had to lockout cam phasers), and just replaced the clutch and slave cylinder about 500 miles ago after slave cylinder went out. The last year has been a little shaky due to having to get two major jobs done (the engine stuff I did myself) and never having any before, but I think Im good for another big chunk of miles now

I know about the head and spark plug change mid year in 2008, this engine kind of fell in my lap, it is an early 2008 made in September of 2007 and has 108,000 miles, it was a freebie along with the transmission.
I've been trying to locate the correct heads and if I can find them I'll use these instead (I did find a set of Ford Racing ported heads that are still in the boxes at a decent price of $1,100.00 but seems like a waste for a stock build)
The 4.6 currently in my Bullitt has unknown miles and smokes a little bit on start-up (it was the replacement for the original motor that someone destroyed (excessive boost with the supercharger will kill a stock bottom end every time).
I just want a good driver that will last until I cannot enjoy it anymore.

Gary
Ugh I love those FRPP heads Gary. Lemme know if you decide to part with them
